TIPS AS YOU PREPARE TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION:

You may first preview the application to get an idea of what you will need. You may save your application and return at any time. There is no time limit.

You must obtain a recommendation from someone who knows you well and is not related to you. You will need this contact's e-mail address as this process is done electronically.

If you are currently in high school, you must also ask your guidance counselor to submit your transcript. This can be done electronically or in the mail. Follow the directions in the application.

In order to submit your application for consideration, you must have completed all areas of the application, including the contact information for the recommendation. You are responsible for ensuring your recommendation and transcript are submitted.

You are also required to write an essay. The committee is interested in learning more about you (i.e. your past, future plans/aspirations). You may type your essay in the box provided in the application or copy and paste from a word document. Note: the maximum word allotment is 500 words.
